I mean I suppose you could Crystallize Hydro and Electro but neither Candace nor Dori are good at applying their elements. And Dendro doesn't Crystallize. Anyway that kinda summarizes the 4*s. None of them are particularly good. Collei didn't even make it to the these Trials. She had the dubious honor of being one of the first 3 Dendro Characters to release and back then none of them were very good. Then Dori and Candace are both examples people have used to claim that Mihoyo puts out bad 4*s to force people to pay for 5*s. Not true of course. We'd end up with characters like Layla and Kirara later and another example Shinobu became fairly competitive thanks to Dendro. But Dori and Candace are actually bad 4*s. Candace has that Beidou (and now also Caesar) wait to counter attack which is pretty useless in DPS check fights which is what most Genshin fights are like. (Caesar benefits from Zenless being much much more fast paced) Dori just works really poorly. If you have any other Electro Character just use them instead lol Also it's sad for Chiori since she's a Geo character. Her only real claim to fame was her lower cooldown long distance teleport which rivaled Alhaitham's but had a much shorter cooldown compared to him. However now that Kinich is out, his teleport (technically more a tether) is the farthest range, he's got 2 uses of them in Natlan, there's a glitch you can do for even greater distance and his cooldown is super short. If it wasn't for his more limited combat gameplay he'd also powercreep over Alhaitham in general. Instead Mihoyo was smart in making Alhaitham the easier to use character in batt
