One of the three piers owned and operated by the Morey family along the Wildwood boardwalk, Adventure Pier is the southern-most pier and also the one filled with the most extreme rides. Almost everything here is an upcharge and not included as part of their wristbands; however, if you visit during their annual "Coastin' By The Ocean" event, typically held the second weekend of August every summer, all these rides are available with both exclusive ride time from 12 PM to 2 PM on Sunday afternoons, additional rides as you desire throughout the weekend, and a super-exclusive midnight ride session for their Great White coaster late on Saturday night! The Coastin' By The Ocean is quite possibly the best deal for people that consider themselves coaster enthusiasts, because not only do they give you all of this, but you get unlimited access to all three piers all weekend long, including both the amusement parks AND the water parks at Surfside and Mariner's (Ocean Oasis and Raging Waters, respectively). In the past they've held a catered dinner for guests on Saturday night, but due to poor weather forecasts this year they cancelled that and instead gave all attendees $80 in credit to spend as they wish for souvenirs or meals. And considering that the tickets were $84.95 to begin with... you basically get to ride your heart out for $4.95 for two days! Although there's no arcade on this pier, and only a handful of the traditional carnival games (including the three-point challenge and balloon pop), those extreme rides are some of the most thrilling you'll find anywhere up and down the boardwalk. The Great White is an amazing, eye catching wooden coaster that somehow runs better than you'd expect for a woodie along the edge of the ocean.
