This is a permanent feature and the payoff is just not really there. I'm not sure what Mihoyo envisaged with this but all I'm seeing is an echo of their previous miscalculations. It is endgame content for sure and that's great. However it's only available to people with Lvl90 characters so it's now the only thing in this game that requires AR50+ and yeah it's not worth it to make the game more tedious just for some trailing sparkles on 5 characters. I mean I saw it on Kirara and it really works on her. But just imagining Diluc running around with that makes me smile. It doesn't fit his personality at all. Anyway I was able to get this in just before August so I can still get the rewards up to Stage 6 on Imaginarium. I suppose if there's a silver lining to be had Stage 6 is still reachable even if it is very annoying to do. And that still means a net gain in primogems because most players weren't getting 36*s on Abyss.
