In this video, I'm explaining how to Beat Special Interception: Modernia. General Steps 1. Your AI-controlled units will aim toward Modernia's core if you skip the scene where her face appears during her introduction animation. Aim for the core while maintaining control of your greatest DPS unit. As soon as the burst gauge is ready, use burst and keep your aim toward her core. 2. When Modernia fires her laser, duck under cover and hold there until the attack is finished. After Modernia completes her laser attack, she will unleash six bombs. You should try to i-frame the final three bombs and clear the first three on one side to make things easier. All units should be able to live even if you are unable to i-frame; if not, try again. When your burst is once more prepared, use it to smash through her core. 3. At this point, Modernia will start acting in a cycle: firing six bombs, moving ahead, firing a machine gun, and moving backward. When AOE burst is on cooldown, you should use step 2 to deal with bombs and time it to clear them. Use your strongest DPS unit to inflict damage on Modernia's body when you are not dealing with bombs. (Avoid breaking both wings, as doing so will cause her to teleport.) 4. Repeat step 3 until the fight ends.
