VO: Safety is paramount during major events at sea.
Crew members of passenger-carrying vessels should show emergency exits and locations of lifejackets, and demonstrate how to wear them.
Adults must ensure children aged 2 to under 12 wear suitable lifejackets throughout the trip, and decide if infants under 2 should wear them.
Coxswains must keep a passenger and crew list and avoid overloading and speeding.
Passengers should follow the instructions given by the Marine Department and the Police when dispersing.
