Saw IV (2007)

Meanwhile, Lynn Denlon tries to help Jill escape the game, while Detective Perez and FBI Agent Kerry Shaw investigate the death of John Kramer. In the end, Lynn succeeds in saving Jill, and Hoffman is able to kill himself. However, the film reveals that John Kramer is not actually dead, and he was controlling the game from behind the scenes.
