A year has passed since the liberation of the "Sanctuary," where Subaru Natsuki fended off Elsa and her relentless attacks and fulfilled a contract with Beatrice in the battle against the Great Rabbit. The Emilia camp, united and strengthened, was enjoying peaceful days as they prepared for the Royal Selection. However, this peace was abruptly shattered by the arrival of a single letter delivered by a messenger.
