Manhwa Recap: These days, "Magic Towers," or tower dungeons, can be found all over the world. Takamichi Yoshito, the primary character, works as a clerk at a convenience store. He has a miserable life because the manager yells at him every day. Yoshito sees himself becoming wealthy, and shortly afterward, the Magic Towers materialize. He joins the towers as a "Challenger," but since he lacks the money to buy gear or weapons, he enters the game entirely late. In an attempt to make things happen quickly, Yoshito sells the few things he has in the tower and his real savings in order to purchase the "Infinite Revival" skill from a dubious vendor. With this ability, he can resurrect himself in the dungeon. But "Infinite Revival" had an unstated drawback. Upon reviving, the user is involuntarily bestowed with a permanent debuff known as the "death penalty," which is so potent that it renders the user unfit to continue as an adventurer. Yoshito is dejected about the cursed skill, but everything changes for the better when he finds the uncommon skill "Inversion" in a dungeon hidden room. The permanent debuff that the Death Penalty caused due to Infinite Revival was reversed and all of its negative effects were converted to positive ones by the skill "Inversion."
