We learn Yoon-chul's entire past, or what he knows of it, now that he has made his way to The Midnight Studio. He had unwillingly agreed to serve as lookout while two accomplices looted a vacation property because he was desperate to assist pay for his sister's impending wedding. He went inside and discovered them dead on the floor when they failed to reappear. Yoon-chul was apprehended and charged in record time, even though he was at the crime site for less than five minutes—hardly enough time for him to have killed both men.
