Sophomore year is turning out to be a nightmare for Haruka Ozawa. Her friend has been possessed, another committed suicide, and now she's in danger of falling victim to a similar fate. In steps Yakumo Saito, a strange student with a red eye that allows him to communicate with the dead. But sometimes the dead don't stay silent, and there are killers willing to do anything to keep their secrets buried. Despite the danger, Haruka and Yakumo persevere in their investigation, even as bodies are unearthed by a police contact and a journalist with a fresh corpse in her closet.
