Train on railway tracks makes its way through snowy landscape. A large building with snow capped mountains in the background, the building has a sign on top that reads: Indian Trading post – Furs direct from the trapper. Wide shot of beautiful landscape, mountains and fir trees, and clear water. A pan down from the bank to the white water below, water gushes over rocks and bubbles at the surface. A man picks his way through dense pine forest – suddenly, one of the trees topples and falls crashing to the ground. Forest workers, lumber men, felled trees litter a bank on the side of the road, huge cranes move the chopped trees onto the back of a flatbed lorry or truck. Man standing on the top of the cab of a lorry as a huge tree trunk is lowered onto the back. Tree trunk being sawed in half by timber worker with a chainsaw.
