Yesterday, we got a chance to check out the brand new Electric Dreams Arcade in downtown Perkasie, Pennsylvania!
For the past two and a half years, this arcade has been the brainchild of husband and wife team Jake and Amanda. They've been collecting arcade cabinets, pinball machines, 80's & 90's themed memorabilia, and steadily putting it all together, and finally they were able to open their doors to the public for a soft launch of the impressively themed three-floor arcade on Saturday, November 30th. There were even some machines that I don't see out on location all that frequently, including the old 70's version of The Incredible Hulk by Gottlieb, Wild Fyre by Stern, and a mid-80's Gottlieb machine called Spring Break that was a surprising amount of fun with a really unique layout!
The second floor has a few more pins, but this is where the majority of the retro games are. The lineup is all killer no filler, with classics like Centipede, Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, the Donkey Kong trilogy, Mortal Kombat II, Tron, an
