As One is a 2012 South Korean sports drama film starring Ha Ji-won (하지원) as Hyung Jung-hwa and Bae Doona (배두나) as Ri Bun-hui. It is a cinematic retelling of the first ever post-war Unified Korea sports team which won the women's team gold medal at the 1991 World Table Tennis Championships in Chiba, Japan. Director Moon Hyeon-seong (문현성) used the foundation of TRUE EVENTS to tell the story of a team that united a divided nation for the first time in its painful history.
