Bowlero's huge flagship Times Square facility in midtown Manhattan NYC is, quite honestly, gorgeous. They've put a lot of polish and care in making this place look and feel unlike any other of their bowling alleys throughout the United States. With multiple rooms across two floors and several unique themes throughout, it's a beautiful if not expensive place to go bowling in the city. But does that same care apply to the arcade portion? To be truthful, not really. Aside from the newsstand themed prize redemption area, which is cute, the games that you'll find here aren't anything special or out of the ordinary compared to any other Bowlero you might come across. It's really just more of the same old stuff, and with many other options in the city (including a Dave & Buster's just a couple of blocks away), there isn't really anything here that I would recommend going out of your way to play here, especially with Bowlero's typically inflated game pricing. The fact that game card credits are equivalent to 50¢ instead of the more traditional 25¢ immediately puts you at a disadvantage, unless you're playing on a half-price games day. And keep in mind that after 9 PM on Friday and Saturday nights, this location becomes exclusively 21+. With that being said, if you're here for the bowling, why not visit the arcade?
