Laal Shak is widely popular and a mouth watering dish of Bangladesh. In this preparation, chopped Laal Shak (Red Spinach) is cooked with Onion, Garlic and Mustard oil. The popularity and demand of this Shak is more than other Shaks because of its amazing color and its nutritional values. In different regions of India, Laal Shak is known by different names. In some places, it is known as Amarnath leaves whereas in a few other places, it is also popular as Laal Palang. This delicious Shak is used to prepare a variety of dishes. It can be used in Dal, in mixed Vegetable preparations, for vegetable stir fry, and even in non-vegetarian preparations like chicken, beef sea food{like prawn} etc.
