After finishing her beloved manga series, Fuuko Izumo is finally ready to end her life. For a decade, she's been cursed with a condition that brings terrible misfortune to anyone who comes into contact with her. This has had devastating consequences for her loved ones, and even caused unintentional deaths, including her own parents. As she stands on a bridge over the train tracks, a stranger brushes past her and falls to his death in front of an oncoming train. When Fuuko goes to retrieve the body, she discovers something astonishing – he's regenerating and coming back to life. Fuuko dubs him "Andy" and learns that he too is burdened with a death wish and is immortal. Although skeptical at first, Fuuko decides to team up with Andy to help him achieve a meaningful death. However, an enigmatic organization watches from the shadows, hoping to exploit the pair's strange talents.
