5 cloves garlic (minced)
1 red onion (sliced)
1 ripe tomato (sliced)
1 carrot (sliced)
1 red bell pepper (cut into strips)
1 green bell pepper (cut into strips)
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
salt (to taste)
