Suzume, a 17-year-old girl, lives in a quiet town in Kyushu, Japan. One day she encounters a young traveler who quickly tells her that he is “looking for a door” without any additional information! Attracted by the ambiguity of that phrase, she followed him, and a door actually opened before her from among the rubble in the mountains, a mysterious door that seemed to be hollow or drawn! As if it was the only thing left from the collapse.
