Using astral projection, they took three full days to extract and seal Shukaku from Gaara within the Gedo Statue. The group arrive at the Hidden Sand after withstanding a strong sandstorm, where they meet with Chiyo who attacks Kakashi, mistaking him for his father, Sakumo Hatake.
