Anna (Nicole Kidman) took ten years to recuperate from her husband's death, but she is now on the verge of marrying her boyfriend, Joseph (Danny Huston), and finally moving on. On the night of her engagement party, however, a young kid named Sean (Cameron Bright) appears, claiming to be her dead spouse resurrected. She initially dismisses the boy, but his knowledge of her ex-husband's life is uncanny, causing her to suspect that he is speaking the truth.
