New Sumeru Boss for Alhaitham Ascension Revealed | Gamepad Therapy Genshin 3.4 ❌ Leaks

A recent reddit leak has shared footage of the new boss, the Wind-Bitten Sandworm, in an underground desert arena. This boss takes the form of a giant burrowing worm with a tail similar to the head of Regisvines. The video shows the creature emerging and diving into the sands with players taking advantage of its limited above-ground time to deal damage similar to the Ruin Serpent in the Chasm. The Wind-Bitten Sandworm is believed to be coming to Genshin Impact alongside the expansion of Sumeru's desert in Version 3.4. It will drop pseudo-stamens that are needed to ascend Alhaitham. While the Wind-Bitten Sandworm looks to bring underground mechanics to the game's newest boss, its temporary invulnerability would not be the first instance of a similar gameplay element. The Ruin Serpent, previously introduced in Version 2.6, features a similar style of gameplay with the massive machine burrowing underground. The initial leak notably did not reveal any of the Sandworm's attacks, with the creature's offensive pattern still unclear. The gameplay also shows off more of Yaoyao, also set to come during Version 3.4, during the fight with the Sandworm.
