A year has passed since the liberation of the "Sanctuary," where Subaru Natsuki fended off Elsa and her relentless attacks and fulfilled a contract with Beatrice in the battle against the Great Rabbit. However, this peace was abruptly shattered by the arrival of a single letter delivered by a messenger. Accepting the invitation, Subaru and his companions set out for Priestella, where they were met with various reunions: one unexpected, one unintended, and one inevitable.
