A legendary character appeared during the North Song Dynasty in ancient China at Kai Feng, the seat of the North Song. He is Zheng Bao, the governor. He is referred to as Bao Gong by the locals (Lord Bao). His extraordinary honesty, uprightness, impartiality, and courage in upholding justice set him apart in a corrupt regime and earned him the nickname "Justice Bao". According to Chinese tradition, Zheng Bao is the supernaturally gifted reincarnation of Megrez, the Chinese God of Wisdom. The Bao Gong mythology is told in a brand-new way in Kai Feng Story.
