Honey Lemon Soda

Middle school was the most difficult time of Uka Ishimori's life at the age of 15. Because of her constant freezing in front of others, she was nicknamed "stone" and endured constant bullying as a result. She has an opportunity to start over and better herself now that she is in high school. Kai Miura, a flamboyant guy with lemon-colored hair, accidentally soaks her with the juice during her first week. Kai appears to be everything that Uka is not: popular, distant, and self-assured enough to express his opinions. Despite their divergent personalities, Kai supports her in gradually emerging from her shell and lends a helping hand when others were reluctant to do so. Uka has come to terms with her genuine feelings—she has fallen in love with Kai—despite her original desire to make friends. The lives of Uka and Kai would soon be permanently altered by what began with a lemon soda.
