Momochi Himari, an orphan, unexpectedly inherits the old Momochi family land on her 16th birthday. Despite the warnings of the house being haunted, she decides to move there regardless because she has nowhere else to go. When she arrives, she discovers that the house is unlawfully occupied by three gorgeous young guys named Aoi, Yukari, and Ise. The three promptly warn the unsuspecting Himari that she must leave the house as soon as possible, citing the ghosts and curses, but she refuses to leave. She soon learns that what she had been told was true: her house seemed to sit on the boundary between the spirit and human realms, and she had been meant to serve as their protector, but Aoi had already assumed that responsibility.
