Frieren's Mirrored Lotus 葬送のフリーレン PART 3

Episode 14 and 15 of Sousou no Frieren (葬送のフリーレン ) shows that the Yata no Kagami (Eight Ata Mirror) of the Imperial Regalia of Japan is actually a Chinese-made Hindu-Buddhist Eight Petal Lotus Mirror that was custom-made by pilgrims from the Middle East and India, who visited Manjushri in Mt. Wutai, near Manchuria, birthplace of Koreans and Japanese. However, an article from the 1930s in Haaretz, an Israeli newspaper, implied that the Japanese leadership was fooled by Anglos and Jews into thinking that the mirror came from Jerusalem and that the Japanese were part of the "chosen people" of "Yahweh." This delusion led to the expansion of the Japanese empire and World War II in the Pacific. After the war, on January 26, 1952, the Tokyo Evening News reported that Prince Mikasa, brother of Emperor Hirohito, was urged to investigate the "Hebrew letters" at the core of the lotus. But it was surrounded by Indian Brahmi letters. Prince Mikasa never gave any investigation results, even up to his death in 2016, but thanks to Frieren, we now have a better idea.
