Yae and Harumichi met and fell in love in the late nineties. Following their high school graduation, Harumichi enlisted in the Self-Defense forces as an aviation student, and the two separated. Yae then attended college in Tokyo.
Yae was involved in a horrific accident one day, and it was twenty years before their paths crossed again. Yae is currently employed in the same city as a cab driver, and Harumichi, having served in the Self-Defense forces, works for a security firm. Twenty years or so after their first love was lost, destiny reunites them.
