What Caused the Vikram Lander's Failure on Chandrayaan 2 ?

The chandrayaan 2 mission is the most ambitious mission of isro. on 7th September the Vikram lander of the chandrayaan 2 spacecraft has scheduled to soft-land on the surface of the moon. this process of the smooth landing was done automatically by the onboard computer system of the Vikram lander, all the commands to the lander will be given by the onboard system. all the parts of the lander was working very well until the lander reaches to the altitude of 2.1 kilometer from the moon surface. before that the lander reduced its speed from thousands of meters per seconds to some 200 meters per seconds within only 10 minuts. this speed reduction was the result of the rough braking phase of the lander which is achieved by the four small thrusters of the lander. after the rough braking phase the lander was gone into another phase called absolute navigation and altitude control phase. during this phase, the lender has to select the appropriate location for landing. after this, the lender has to come across another phase called fine braking phase. here in this phase, the lander had to reduce its speed very close to zero. and then it has the last phase of vertical descent. but all these planned things does not happened actually. the lander lost its connection from the deep space ground at an altitude of 2.1 kilometers. no confirmation related to the failure of the mission has been announced by the isro. in this video we will talk about the chandrayaan 2 mission status and about the Vikram lander situation.
