John 11:25-26

John 11:25-26 reads: "Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?'" These verses are spoken by Jesus to Martha, the sister of Lazarus who had died. Jesus had come to raise Lazarus from the dead, and in this conversation with Martha, He proclaims that He is the source of resurrection and eternal life. Jesus declares that those who believe in Him will live, even though they die physically, because their souls will live on eternally with Him. He then challenges Martha to express her faith by asking her if she believes this truth. These verses offer hope and assurance for believers that death is not the end, but rather a transition into eternal life with Christ.
