‘March for Gaza’ – Lakhs of people flock to Suhrawardy Udyan. The heart of Dhaka has erupted against the Israeli occupation. Lakhs of people from different parts of the country rushed to stand by the oppressed people of Gaza in support of humanity. This mass movement demanding the liberation of Gaza included a call to boycott Israeli products and an oath demanding the independence of Palestine. The collective voices were raised – “Bangladesh for Gaza”, “Stop the Israeli aggression”, “Palestine is our brother”. On this day of making history, there was only one word in the hearts of the people – may humanity and justice triumph.
