Michelle embarks on a cross-country journey across a retro-futuristic United States to find her younger brother, Christopher. Accompanied by Cosmo, a robot sent by Christopher, and Keats (portrayed by Chris Pratt), a drifter with his own robot companion, Herman (voiced by Anthony Mackie), Michelle confronts remnants of a devastating war between humans and robots.
