This drama is one of the best slow burn and wholesome romance I have ever seen. Cinematograph, OST, chemistry…perfect. The way Sang Yan loves Wen Yifan through his consistent and thoughtful ways. This is a love that stands the test of time—silent yet unwavering devotion, distant yet quietly present. He’s so beautifully written that it hurts because I know he’s a fictional character with the kind of presence that every female needs in her life. His support, strength, care, and protection are things every heart long for. Sang Yan has become one of my top favorite male leads through his tenacity and determination to pursue his love for 8 years, even with a broken heart. He’s never left her alone, always finding ways to connect with her and risking his life to protect her from her monsters. Wen Yifan was such a strong survivor with all that she endured. She was brave through her persistence despite the neglect experienced with so many people around her who were supposed to be her “family”. The resilience she has shown by going through all the challenging situations on her own. I’m so proud of her and how far she’s come. 😭 This video is very long compare to my other edits because this drama is very special to me.
