A while back it was pretty common to hear that Lisa is cursed and that it was related to her time in Sumeru. But actually, there is not indication of any curse on lisa, she did study in Sumeru though and through her research actually paid a steep price in exchange for knowledge. This is one of the 2 reason why she left the akademiya. Some part of this video comes from the actual lore while others may be speculation as we currently do not know the full story.
