In the story, Colonel Hu Bayi, Shirley Yang, and Wang Kaixuan accidentally caused the release of the "Mist Curse" while trying to remove it. This incident resulted in the loss of innocent lives among the local people. In the following six months, Hu Bayi and Wang Kaixuan found themselves struggling to survive in Southeast Asia and began to have different opinions about finding the "Mu Dust Bead." Unexpectedly, Wang Kaixuan got into trouble with a group led by Rogers. Unable to stand idly by, Hu Bayi and Shirley Yang went to Wang Shengxian's tomb to rescue Wang Kaixuan and bring him back.
