CHRISTMAS TOWN! Busch Gardens (Williamsburg VA), 4K arcade tours & park vlog, De

This past Saturday, we visited the "world's most beautiful theme park" (voted as such for over 30 years, apparently), Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA. We were attending an event hosted by the American Coaster Enthusiasts group, namely their Mid-Atlantic chapter. It included early entry into the park, exclusive ride time on their wooden coaster Invadr & their newest coaster DarKoaster, a catered lunch with Santa & Mrs. Claus, a midway games tournament, & more! Just one problem. Even though it was a beautiful day, the temperatures did NOT want to cooperate. It was just over freezing for a good chunk of the day, & in fact, when we arrived, Invadr wasn't yet ready due to the cold! There was a quick pivot to Le Catapult, a classic Scrambler style ride, but within a half hour they managed to get Invadr up & running! It's the park's only wooden coaster, but it's an absolute gem! I've included POV footage of both Le Catapult & Invadr here, thanks to Busch Gardens allowing guests to wear GoPro cameras with appropriate harnesses. As the park opened to the public, we quickly made our way over to DarKoaster to get some of the first rides of the day on this. We hadn't yet had a chance to ride it; the last time I was in this building, it was being used as a Howl-O-Scream haunt, & before that it was a dark ride called "DarKastle". They've since retired both of those, but repurposed the building to make it a fully enclosed indoor coaster that does multiple laps around a twisting, turning track with projections & effects that are constantly changing on you! It was very cool & we ended up riding it multiple times. (Unfortunately no on-ride footage here, due to low light.) Of course, I wouldn't be making a trip to a theme park & completely ignoring the games! Busch Gardens features three arcades, & a multitude of other games. Near Darkoaster, in the Germany section of the park, there's a big selection of carnival games under their Oktoberfest Games banner. ACE Mid-Atlantic had or
