I’m Still Here (Portuguese: Ainda Estou Aqui) is a 2024 Brazilian drama film directed by the acclaimed Walter Salles, adapted from Marcelo Rubens Paiva’s celebrated 2015 memoir of the same name. With a screenplay by Murilo Hauser and Heitor Lorega, the film presents a deeply moving exploration of one of Brazil’s most painful historical periods, the Military Dictatorship (1964–1985).
