Two weekends ago, on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, Canobie Lake Park welcomed members of the American Coaster Enthusiasts for their "Festival of Screeems" event. My family and I made the trip up from New Jersey to come check it out, as Canobie Lake Park is a fantastic small amusement park isolated in the woods of Salem, New Hampshire, with beautiful art deco inspired theming, classic rides, a fantastic wooden roller coaster in Yankee Cannonball, and... would you believe it... not one, not two, but SIX different arcades throughout the park! And that's not counting all the carnival games -- that's six separate locations to play arcade games throughout the park, including a dedicated pinball parlor! It's practically unheard of. Unfortunately, one of the six was closed for the day, so this isn't a complete tour, but we'll take you through the five spots that WERE open, as well as show you some of the sights from our day (and spooky night!) at the park.
