Solo Travel Tokyo_ Imperial Palace, Godzilla Statue, Tokyo Tower, and Akihabara

Thursday, September 19, 2024. Today is my third day here in Tokyo. And today was very hot, it was 92°F outside. Today, the places I visited are as follows: Number 1, Imperial Palace. It is the Japanese emperor's home, but it wasn't exactly open to the public. Number 2, Godzilla Statue. It is a very popular monster here in Japan. Sometimes he plays the bad guy. Sometimes he plays the good guy. Number 3, Tokyo Tower. Originally a radio and television tower, now people come and visit to enjoy the view from the top. Number 4, Akihabara Electric Town. This part of Tokyo is famous for high-tech electronics. There are also pachinko parlors. It's like a pinball machine but it is vertical, and the ball goes to the top then comes down. Later on in the evening, I visited the Executive Lounge of the hotel I'm staying at. I have Diamond Status with the hotel and it comes with pretty good perks.
