The film revolves around Mahto, a young boy who loses his mother in the events of World War II, which prompts him to move to the countryside to live with his father and his new stepmother who is expecting a child. As he adjusts to his new life in the countryside, Mahto faces a series of challenges and psychological struggles as a result of losing his mother. One day, a mysterious heron leads him to a fantasy world full of strange creatures and magical scenes. In this secret world, Mahto discovers the forces of nature and ancient spirits, and embarks on an inner journey that reflects his struggle with grief, loss, and the search for inner peace.
