The Fringe Festival Cavalcade traditional parade sees performers from the Edinburgh Fringe and Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo parade through the city in an annual free event which takes place at the beginning of August every year. The new Edinburgh Festivals parade route began at Holyrood Park Road where it made it's way to the Meadowbank entrance; first leaving by the entrance to the Commonwealth Pool then East along Queen's Drive.
