Fashion Statement | Gabrielle Chanel ~ Brand Ambassador, Wang Yibo

The first exhibition of "Fashion Statement | Gabrielle Chanel" was presented in Paris in 2020. Now, it has moved to Shanghai. It is the first retrospective of Gabrielle Chanel's works in China. From her early sailor collar shirts to the famous little black dress, 2.55 handbag, and iconic tweed suits, this exhibition outlines the image of a pioneering fashion designer who redefined fashion, and femininity. In the interview video, Chanel brand ambassadors i周迅, Wang Yibo, Phoebe Tonkin, Keira Knightley, Tilda Swinton, Margaret Qualley, Naomi Campbell, Miyazawa Hiroyu, Vanessa Paradis and Komatsu Nana discussed how Gabrielle Chanel revolutionized the fashion industry and how her heritage inspired them, and shared their expectations for the upcoming exhibition in Shanghai. The exhibition will run from July 12 to November 24, 2024, and is co-organized by Shanghai Museum of Contemporary Art PSA and Palais Galliera, the Paris City Museum of Fashion, and exclusively supported by the Chanel brand.
