The 36 participants from all around the world gather to begin their journey to achieve their dream of becoming an idol star. They're divided into different teams according to different kpop songs. Prior to the first performance, their coaches, C mates, interview them and check the unique talents that each participant has. The participants perform for the first time in front of large audience, and the score they earn from the audience and c mates will bring them different fates in the next round.
