Just when they thought the war was over, one of its greatest battles began.

Screen legend Henry Fonda, a veteran of such memorable war files
as Mister Roberts. The Longest Day and Midway Plays Lt. Col. Kiley,
an ex-cop whose instincts lead him straight to the German plan and
into conflict with his skeptical superious. Fonda is backed by experts at
bringing the explosive action and gut-wrenching reality of war to the
screen: director Ken Anakin (The Longest Day) and cinematographer
Jack Hildyard (an Oscar winner for The Bridge on the River kwai).
And the cast is a veritable juggernaut of action movie veterans:Robert
Shaw, Robert Ryan. Dama Andrew, George Montgomery, Ty Hardin,
Charles Bronson and Telly Savalas.
The battle itself is stunning, a vast panorama of men and machines
that shifts dramatically between Americans and Germans commanders
and foot soldiers. And one man with one rifle and an entire Panzer
