Yoshimura Mamoru, a high school student, was rescued by Beatrice from danger when he was a child. On his first day of school, he encounters Takasu Ayako, a girl who demands that he go out with her. Ayako is a second-year student who is one year Mamoru's senior. She serves as the disciplinary committee's director, is stunningly gorgeous, and a Beatrice whiz who can shoot down satellites. Though she is referred to as Witch Beatrice or Death Angel in the Beatrice community, she is, in truth, a virtuous young woman.
