Many believe that Jesus was crucified at or near the place where Abraham would have sacrificed his son Isaac. This was a parallel to show how much pain God was going through when he gave up his only son for humanity (which is why Jesus was called the “lamb”). This movie was very nice to watch, and the acting was very good. I was worried it would be too slow, but it followed the Bible and, similar to The Chosen, added some potential encounters into the three-day journey.
