Launched in November 1998 with original host, trimedia personality Mari Kaimo, The Correspondents quickly became the authority in daring well-researched exposés that jolt government and other entities concerned into action. Now hosted by Abner Mercado (since Kaimo's he moved to CBN Asia in 2007). The Correspondents's assembly of award-winning investigative reporters led by the multi-awarded broadcast journalist Karen Davila included Bernadette Sembrano Ces Orena-Drilon and Kat De Castro The Correspondents continues to be a vanguard of vigilance and a weekly display of tenacious reporting. But more than that, it prides itself as a public affairs program that not only exposes the many ills in our society today, but also seeks and celebrates the good in the Filipino.
