I’ve been craving cream buns so much, so I made some, with some strawberries on top, even.
The shape of the buns is inspired by this Italian bread called Maritozzi.
Wow, they really load it with the cream in that sandwich.
I can’t go anywhere overseas these days,
so I’ll have to recreate it here, and while I’m at it, I added a hint of “Koreanness” to the recipe.
I love the fruity version so much more!
I recommend whipping the cream well ahead and chill in the fridge. This makes it easier to fill and to eat.
