Iruma Suzuki, 14, has had a difficult life because he has to work while still a minor in order to support his negligent parents. He eventually learns that his parents had actually sold him to the demon Sullivan. Iruma's concerns about what will happen to him, however, are quickly allayed because Sullivan only wants a grandchild, spoiling him and forcing him to attend the demon school Babyls. Iruma initially tries to maintain a low profile out of concern that his peers will learn that he is a human. Unfortunately, it turns out to be more challenging than he anticipated. It turns out that Sullivan is the school's chairman, and everyone anticipates that he will succeed the current Demon King as the next!
